Light tackle fishing at its finest.
Tampa Bay | Clearwater | Boca Grande
Some of Florida's finest saltwater fishing occurs in Central Florida. Tampa Bay, Clearwater and Boca Grande Florida has some of the best backcountry and flats fishing in the state. Tampa Bay is loaded with mangrove islands, rivers and tidal creeks creating angling challenges to the accomplished angler as well as the novice. Miles of mangrove shoreline, oyster bars and acres of turtle-grass flats attract an abundance of game fish. Tarpon invade areas from the Skyway Bridge South to Charlotte Harbor including the famous Boca Grande Pass May, June and July. Spring and Fall the King Mackerel make their annual run just off the beautiful beaches of St. Petersburg Florida, the Egmont shipping channel. King Mackerel to 50 pounds make incredible drag screaming runs and spectacular jumps. Snook (Capt. Steven favorite) and Redfish are abundant Spring through Fall. Beat the heat and join us for a nighttime snook charter. Spring and summer is also shark time. Blacktip, Bonnet head sharks are powerful and fun. Winter is trout time with catches of 30-50 fish a day not uncommon. When Capt. Steven brings home fish for the family table its most likely trout, a very mild and delicious taste.
